Aysha Hameed, MA
Resident in Counseling
Aysha holds an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She has experience working with diverse individuals, couples, and families in intensive in-home services, crisis management, and outpatient care. Aysha provides support to adoptive and foster children, families, at-risk youth, and couples. She specializes in helping clients navigate trauma, life transitions, depression, and neurodevelopmental challenges, with extensive experience in parent-child work. Aysha is trained in EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals, couples, and families, with a focus on dyadic attachment work. She is currently expanding her expertise through training in Somatic Experiencing (SE) to address the unconscious responses of trauma in the body and strengthen client healing.
